Smoothies are so simple to make that it’s hardly worth posting an actual recipe, but since you can really use any combination of fruit that you want or have in this, think of this as more of a “ratio”, and customize it with whatever you feel like.
I make our smoothies in 2 Tall Starbucks cold cups (we always reuse these- you should see our collection!) and I like to measure the fruits right into the cups so the smoothie never gets too big.
Here’s the unofficial recipe:
Break 1 banana into pieces in each cup, dividing it equally between the two. Dump in about 2/3 cup of frozen fruit. I like to use 1/3 cup frozen strawberries and 1/3 cup frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries).
Pour 1 cup of orange juice into the blender. Scoop a generous spoonful (about 1/2 cup) of Greek yogurt in as well.
Add the fruit into the blender and sprinkle 4 tablespoons of flaxseed meal on top.
Blend until smooth.
Pour the smoothies back into the cups and drink up!
